Here at Barn Cottages at Lacock we have three, architect-designed, oak-beamed holiday cottages, each sleeping four. Although situated in a quiet, rural location surrounded by fields, they are close to Bath and perfectly situated for touring Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. The National Trust village of Lacock has been used as a filmset for Harry Potter and Cranford.

The Longleat Safari Park and the Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury are favourite destinations for our guests, whilst Bowood House is popular for its stately home, wonderful grounds, adventure playground and magnificent golf course. Fishing and horse riding are both available locally whilst Castle Combe and Bradford on Avon have great routes for walkers. We welcome large groups for weddings reunions etc. as we can sleep up to 12 in all 3 cottages.

The three holiday cottages - Maple, Cherry and Chestnut each have a light and airy open-plan living area with exposed oak beams, a downstairs double bedroom and shower room and a galleried sleeping area with twin beds accessed by a ladder staircase. Though this bedroom may not be suitable for unsupervised small children it is extremely popular with older ones. All have french doors to a patio area with garden furniture and Chestnut has a glazed wall which opens out onto a further small seating area. All cottages are well-equipped with DVD player, dishwasher, microwave, radio/CD player and furnished to a high standard. They share a utility room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
