Tickleberry, our largest cottage, has three bedrooms and sleeps 6, with the benefit of a bathroom and separate shower room. Puddings Barn and Pump Cottage each have one bedroom and a shower room. Each cottage boasts a fully integrated, well equipped kitchen, cosy soft furnishings, TV, DVD, Freeview, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and individual private lawned gardens, with patios and BBQs. A former bustling dairy farm, the cottages are arranged around a courtyard that was once the farm yard. Each cottage having a former life, we have tried to retain original features where ever possible, from the well in the garden of Pump Cottage, to the brick water tank stand in the garden of Puddings Barn.

Picturesque Bradford-on-Avon is steeped in history, and boasts a wealth of gift shops, cafes and restaurants. Be sure to visit the Tithe Barn and Saxon Church. The train station in the centre provides a great link with Bath, with trains running every 30 minutes. Be spoilt for choice with shops, and restaurants, the Roman Baths, the Thermae Spa, as well as the glorious Georgian architecture of the World Heritage city.

Situated on the outskirts of Bradford-on-Avon, in the peaceful rural hamlet of Bradford Leigh, Merkins Farm is the ideal location for your holiday. Visit Bath, Longleat, Lacock, the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, National Trust properties, two of which, Great Chalfield Manor and The Courts Gardens in Holt, can be reached by following scenic walks across the fields! End the day with a meal at the local pub, just a 5 minute walk down the lane!
