Marshwood Farm Cottage
Come and enjoy the Wiltshire countryside at Marshwood Farm, situated between Salisbury and Bath. The Cottage is attached to Marshwood Farmhouse dating from 17th century. The property has been tastefully renovated, retaining many original features and enhanced with comforts of modern living.
Marshwood Farm is set in countryside, ideal for walking, cycling and exploring places of interest. Salisbury to the east – the cathedral with its impressive spire and surroundings, a traditional market (Tuesdays and Saturdays) in the market square, theatre, variety of restaurants, shopping and guided tours or perhaps a day or evening at the races. Maybe you are drawn to Wiltshire to visit Stonehenge and Avebury or by chance glimpse a mysterious crop circle. Wilton , a small market town with its shopping village, Wilton House and Italianate style church is well worth a visit. To the west, Longleat, the safari park, house and grounds, a day out with something for everyone.
Further to the west is the delightful city of Bath, with its Roman Baths, museums, fine architecture and mix of shopping and dining. Shaftesbury, a hilltop town, with its Gold Hill, quaint cobbled streets and King Alfred’s Abbey. Stourhead, the house and grounds, ever-changing throughout the seasons.
